Chan Ngat-chau studied cello with Fritz Magg at the New England Conservatory of Music, and later became the last student of Zara Nelsova. He joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in 2007.

陳屹洲於美國新英格蘭音樂學院學習大提琴，師承Fritz Magg，後來成為Zara Nelsova的最後一位學生。陳氏於2007年加入香港管弦樂團。
