Japanese YouTuber-scientist-composer-pianist Hayato Sumino is a rising musical sensation traversing the classical and digital inspirations. A truly ambidextrous talent, Sumino won the Grand Prix at Japan’s prestigious PTGN piano competition as a science postgraduate at the University of Tokyo, before becoming a semi-finalist at the 2021 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Outside the concert halls, he shares his original, cross-genre compositions on YouTube by the name Cateen, captivating over 1 million subscribers worldwide, with 160 million views and counting.

In his highly anticipated Hong Kong Debut, Sumino will present dazzling gems by J.S. Bach, Chopin, and Kapustin, as well as three of his original YouTube top hits: Big Cat WaltzRecollection, and New Birth.
