Take a midday break and come experience music from Xinjiang’s Ili Valley at the historic Fung Ping Shan Building! This 45-minute performance features vibrant music in a multitude of Uyghur instrumental and vocal genres, performed by some of the best musicians in the region today. Introductory remarks will be given by Dr. Chuen-Fung Wong, Associate Professor of Music, Hong Kong Baptist University.
